Selig Dry Gin

The Selig Dry Gin is distilled in a specially built spirits plant by the South Tyrolean manufacturer Psenner. The small still (300 litres) has a basket which is hung in the flask of the still and in which all the aromas of the spices (nutmeg, lavender, aniseed, gentian root, lemon peel, orange peel, cinnamon sticks and cloves) are extracted by the rising alcoholic vapours. The macerate in the kettle itself contains juniper, coriander seeds, cranberries and rowan berries. The purest wheat alcohol is used for the production of all these botanicals. The heart (middle course) of this London Dry Gin is only lightly filtered and adjusted to 43% volume. This preserves the high ethereal and full-bodied character of the distillate, which plays particularly well with a classic to herbal tonic water.

This wonderful gin convinces with its balanced taste. The Selig Dry Gin goes well with classic as well as with tart, bitter tonics.
