Rum from Switzerland
Switzerland is traditionally not a typical rum country. Other spirits, such as schnapps, have a much longer tradition in Switzerland. That is why the history of Swiss rum production is still relatively young. However, in recent years a number of Swiss distilleries have started to produce rums from imported molasses. Although the selection is still limited, some distilleries have already succeeded in producing high-quality and tasty rums based on their knowledge.
