The basis of the Nomad Outland Whisky is a blended whiskey, which is composed of about thirty malt and grain whiskies from the Speyside region, which have already matured for 5 to 8 years. In Scotland itself, the Nomad Outland Whisky matures for three years in former Oloroso sherry casks. It is then taken to the cellars of Bodega Gonzalez Byass in Jerez, where it undergoes a twelve-month finish in particularly old, former Pedro Ximénez sherry casks in the special Kilma of Andalusia. After nine years, the Nomad Outland Whisky is finally bottled in the modern designed bottle.

On the nose, Nomad Outland Whisky smells predominantly of notes of sweet and spicy dried fruits, such as raisins, dates and plums. These are joined by fresh aromas of oranges and subtle tones of vanilla, honey and caramel. A certain pepper spiciness is also noticeable. On the palate, the Nomad Outland Whisky proves to be intense and voluminous, but always remains very soft. Finely balanced notes of honey and dried fruit characterize the overall picture, followed by hints of vanilla, nuts, mild peppery tones, oak and fruity orange. The finish is relatively long and mild, with nuances of raisins, nuts, oak and orange lingering. 

Connoisseurs enjoy the Nomad Outland Whisky best neat at room temperature. On the other hand, it is perfect as a base for legendary cocktails such as "Whisky Sour" or "Old Fashioned".
