The preparation of absinthe is a special ritual, which includes a special spoon. Absinthe spoon is characterized by its special shape. You place it on the glass, put a sugar cube on it and pour ice-cold water over it. This dissolves the sugar and sweetens the rather bitter absinthe taste.
