The Cask Speyside 12 Years Limited Sherry Edition comes from the independent bottler A.D. Rattray, which bottles and markets various single malts under the Cask Series. The Cask Speyside is a single malt from the Speyside region. Where exactly the whisky is distilled unfortunately remains a secret. It was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks with a subsequent finish in ex-sherry casks. No chill filtration or colouring used.
Flavour: Full-bodied and round. A fruity start brings dark cherries and plums, followed by forest honey and orange marmalade that linger in the mouth
Finish: Long-lasting and complex, with spices and a subtle acidity of berries
