The Studer Swiss Highland Sloe Gin is the fruity brother of the successful Swiss Highland Dry Gin. In its production, classic botanicals such as juniper, lemongrass, lavender, coriander and pepper are used first. In addition, however, sloe berries are added to the mash, giving it its typical fruity-spicy character.
The sloe berries are already noticeable on the nose, followed by spicy juniper aromas and crisp, fresh lemongrass. On the palate, these flavors are continued, but the sloe berries now present themselves rather from a spicy-sweet side and thus give the gin a surprising twist. Flavors of juniper, coriander and lemongrass also make themselves felt again. The finish of the Studer Swiss Highland Sloe Gin is still pleasantly fruity and ends with a peppery spiciness.
