The Studer Swiss Premium Absinthe is one of the finest distillates of the Distillerie Studer & Co AG from Escholzmatt (Switzerland), which has been producing the best schnapps, finest liqueurs and exceptional brandies for over 130 years. The traditional recipe for this Absinthe was created about 100 years ago in the canton of Neuchâtel, but was only brought back to life by Studer in 2005. The recipe for this noble Absinthe contains wormwood herb, a mixture of 8 selected herbs, pure alcohol and of course fresh spring water from our own springs. The distillation is done in a pot still process. The result is a wonderful Absinthe with a greenish yellow colour. Like all "Swiss Premium Gold Selection" products, the Studer Swiss Premium Absinthe is bottled in a "Matterhorn" bottle.
The recommended drinking method is a 1:4 ratio with fresh water. Depending on your preference, you can also add some sugar.
The Studer Swiss Premium Absinthe has won several awards, among others at the CWSA Hong Kong (Double Gold) and at the ISW/DistiSuisse (Gold).
