The name of this excellent rum from Trinidad and Tobago comes from the legendary sea monster, which is said to have pulled down complete sailing ships including crew into the depths of the oceans. The production of The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is based on molasses. After distillation the rum is aged for about 12-24 months before it is flavored and refined with 14 natural spices.
Black as the deep sea itself, the Kraken Rum presents itself in the bottle. With aromas of cinnamon, ginger and cloves, it unfolds its best notes both when enjoyed pure and in long drinks.
The shape of the bottle with its two small handles is reminiscent of the tentacles of an octopus. In addition to the great visual appearance, the Kraken Rum also offers an excellent taste.
