The Nginiois Swiss Blended Gin is a new gin from Switzerland that has made a name for itself among connoisseurs within a short time.
The Nginious Gin is made from 18 selected botanicals, and the production process is very complex. All botanicals are first blended and divided into 4 groups. All 4 groups are first macerated for up to 6 hours and then slowly distilled in small batches in a pot still process. Afterwards a resting phase is required, which lasts up to 6 weeks after distillation.
The first group of botanicals, also known as a fruit batch, consists of juniper, barberries and laurel fruits. These botanicals provide the fruity balance in the gin. The second group consists exclusively of citrus fruits such as lemon and orange peel and fresh grapefruit. The third is the most important group - called "Swiss Batch". All the ingredients in this group come exclusively from Switzerland: hay flowers, red clover flowers, golden balm, hyssop, chamomile, blackcurrant leaves, iris root, silver thistle root and galangal. Here you can see that the manufacturer wants to stand out completely from all other gins with his Gin Nginious. With the last batch, the gin is given a golden "shot" by adding liquorice to achieve a perfect balance.
